CRAIG HINTON TO ATTEND SOUTH WEST REGIONAL FINALS
Bristol Rovers defender Craig Hinton will attend the Tesco Cup South West England Regional Football Final on Sunday May 3 at BAWA Sports Club in Bristol.
The tournament will see teams across three age groups (U13 boys, U14 girls, U16 girls) battling to be crowned Regional Champions and earn a place in the England final at the Walkers Stadium in Leicester on May 17. Hinton will be on hand to give the youngsters tips and sign autographs for the general public, at BAWA Sports Club in Filton, Bristol at 15.00pm.
Craig Hinton commented: ‘I am delighted to be a Tesco Cup Ambassador and look forward to attending the South West Regional Final this weekend and spotting potential stars of the future. The tournament is a great way to get kids involved in competitive football and I wish all the players the best of luck as they battle for a place in the English final.'
Across the three age groups, over 3,700 teams across the country entered this year's Tesco Cup competition. Teams compete at County, Regional and National level in a bid to represent their country in the UK Final at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton on Sunday May 24.
