Who is the tournament open to?
The tournament is open to all girls' community football clubs who are affiliated to their local FA, who in turn must have agreed to participate in the competition. Click here for this season's list of participating FAs.

What is the age restriction for the tournament?
Girls must be under the age of 16 but have reached the age of 14 as at midnight on 31st August 2008.

What is the deadline for entry?
Clubs must have registered their entry before the start of the 2009/10 season, in line with their local FA’s cup competition.

Where is the tournament taking place?
The tournament is a UK wide tournament with community teams from England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales taking part. The UK Final will take place at an English Premiership club ground in May 2010. The previous four UK finals were held at the City of Manchester Stadium before moving to The Reebok Stadium. What are the stages of the competition?
The tournament begins with County Cups and Area Cups in England and Wales. The teams that win through their Area or County Final go through to the Regional Finals and then the National Finals. The process is slightly different in Scotland and Northern Ireland as they already run National Cups – the winners of which progress to the UK Final, playing against the National winning sides from England and Wales.

When does the Tesco Cup take place?
The competition runs throughout the 2009/10 season with the UK Final scheduled to take place in May 2010.
